design review

a collaborative process focused on analysing the strengths and weaknesses of your work to date

Working at home

realise your potential

Wearable development strategy is a well trodden path for us, and we can help guide your journey. We will run a design review across the key areas of your project. This collaborative stage focuses on assessing the strengths and weaknesses of your work to date and unpicking the technical gaps. We focus on reducing technical risks, realising the full potential of your product, and ensuring the prioritisation and feasibility of your development plans.

the process, explained...

Your design review will take place in two phases. The first being a workshop conducted by Thrive to help the team gather an in depth understanding of your product in collaboration with the core visionaries in your team; the second being a review report which will detail our findings and present our tailored advice. The process is normally delivered virtually by a personally assigned project lead expert and a technical project manager from Thrive.

The workshop session includes:

  • In depth exploration of your current product ecosystem

  • Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the work to date

  • Uncovering any unknowns, gaps, frictions or technical barriers in the project

  • Uncovering any areas of potential improvement or future opportunity

The design review report will include:

  • Tailored advice from the Thrive team

  • Evaluation of the key technical risks and mitigations

  • New design requirements

  • A clear future development plan

“The process was very helpful for us – it challenged the founder’s thinking in all the right ways and ensured that the process by which this concept could become a reality were fully understood. Although done entirely remotely, this did not cause any issues at all in terms of the process or quality of outcome. The session was expertly managed using excellent collaboration tools and supported by enthusiastic Thrive people..”
