IDTechEx Show, Wearable USA: Making Wearables Truly Compelling


Dr Jacob Skinner, CEO of Thrive Wearables, will be in Santa Clara, California for IDTechEx’s Wearable USA on the 14-15th November. The two-day conference connects emerging technologies with global brands. Jacob will be giving a presentation on ‘Making Wearables Truly Compelling’, presenting the need for a ‘Hardware enabled software’ model for Wearables going forward. Wear Sustain: Final Event and Symposium

On the 21st we are in Belgium, for the Wear Sustains final event and symposium. Wear Sustain are hosting a day of talks and discussions about Sustainable and Ethical Wearables, and Smart/E-textiles at Bozar, Brussels Centre for Fine Arts. Dr Jacob Skinner will be discussing EU-wide wearables projects, as well as debating the ethics and sustainability of fashion and technology-enabled products.

Giant Health Event: Wearable Wellness  


On the 22nd we are hosting the Wearables Wellness track at this year’s Giant Health Event. The global innovation and new technology health event showcases leading health tech from around the world. We will be running a stage, packed with pioneering keynote speakers from all corners of the wearables technology industry, such as Stephen Hicks from Oxford-based Startup, OxSight, and Barry Nee of CareUK to name a few. Plus, an interactive panel discussion where industry professionals will be sharing knowledge, building relations, and creating a lasting impact in the new era of wearable technology applications for health and wellness.
