Thrive at Digital Health World Congress 2018

Thrive Wearables CEO, Dr Jacob Skinner, presented at the Digital Health World Congress in London today. He spoke to a packed room of NHS practitioners, technology providers, and health and wellness industry experts on ‘Enabling Health and Wellbeing with Wearable Technology’. Jacob drew on some of the themes that Thrive are focused on in the AI space, but also spoke of the need to embed good design and UX across emerging product and service propositions.

The conference, held in west London, explored the opportunities for digital and technology enablement across NHS and private healthcare. The rate of change in the space is staggering, reinforced by recent proclamation of ‘cloud first’ by Matt Hancock and the associated signals he is giving to the industry.

Jacob was delighted to be invited to present and reflects on the show:

‘There was a broad mix of speakers at the show, from both industry and the NHS. It’s so important to bring diverse groups together as we enter this new era of preventative, predictive and individualised healthcare. It was a privilege to be asked to speak. It would have been great to see patients represented more directly.’
